"Grandpa, there are 63 stars on that flag!"
"I'll be deep in the cold, cold ground before I recognize Canada!"

@GoatWorship666

If this happened, anything labeled "Made in Canada" would probably become really collectable.

@AngelAssassin117

This video has aged extremely poorly lmao

@Nominal-Lettuce

"Our dedicated boys keep the peace in newly annexed Canada" -Fallout

@williamwueppelmann5982

It’s weird to assume that, if Canada joined the USA, it would do so as one gigantic state rather than as 13 separate ones. Apart from the territories and Prince Edward Island, Canada’s provinces are more populous than the smallest US states, and Ontario would be something like the 6th or 7th largest state if it were to join the USA. Canada has a population about the same size as California but is geographically as big as the entire USA and would likely be completely ungovernable as a single state.

@caccus2639

Just a correction, the recent migrant surge can be more connected to the collapse of the Venezuelan economy than Mexico's battle with the Cartels.

@blando7786

I am an American from the southwestern United States. A few years ago I had a job that had be regularly interacting with Canadians in BC, SK, AB, and ON. I have a deep love and respect for Canada and its people. I want our nations to be extremely close friends, neighbors, and trade partners. May our friendship grow and become stronger with every passing year. Cheers to our friends in the north!

@chawkins.019

Man this video aged like milk

@markhanson408

Trump would drop the tariffs in a heartbeat to get his name on a legacy project.
Build a railline to Alaska through BC or Alberta. Canada can call it a defense expenditure that helps it meet its commitment, while also having an investment that might eventually pay for itself.
Trump gets to wave a golden shovel and say he fulfilled a century old dream of Alaska that improves the ability to defend the Arctic.

@wallysquash3361

Premier Trump of SOuthern Canada needs to chill tf out

@jmangd

NGL, this aged like bagged milk.

@nyrrv

JJ taking every chance he can get to advocate for the annexation of his own country:

@CrabRangoonSortaGuy

JJ I know you couldn't've predicted the tarrifs and everything but how on earth did you have high hopes for unity with Trump in office

@Oleksandr.Derkach

I finally found on what issue JJ is Conservative! It's MEXICO

@friendofelphie

I think it would be awesome if Canada and the US had a Schengen-style agreement that allowed for free movement between the two countries.

@JHZech

Aside from the 51st state thing not being serious, improvements in relations are not likely under a Trump presidency because he views relationships as transactional. He will react strongly to any perceived advantage a country is getting in purely monetary terms and demand concessions. This happened during his first term too when he demanded money from Korea because the US stationed its military there, and he viewed that as a service the US was providing but not getting paid for rather than a mutually beneficial arrangement that bolstered Korean security while helping America project power in Asia. We are already seeing the preview for this as it relates to Canada since he accused it of ripping the US off

@B91168

This is why people make fun if you JJ

@ztl2505

I'm from Michigan originally and my parents have talked a lot about how much easier border crossing used to be pre 9/11. The whole "flashing an ID and getting waved through" sounds similar to how they described it. Windsor ON basically functioned as a Canadian suburb of Detroit.
