I love the idea that this comic was the basis for the entire DCEU/Syderverse.
"Batman, I think maybe your wrong." Batman: "How dare you disagree with me. I'm never wrong. I'm Batman. And I'm not overreacting by smacking you. Not at all."
Thank you for unearthing the source of this classic meme. My favorite mashup is batman slapping pen pineapple apple pen guy.
R.I.P. Val Kilmer 1959-2025 I always felt his Batman performance was underrated
Certified "World's finest" moment
Oh snap! I didn't expect to hear the theme to "The Adventures of Superman" in this short!
Appaloosa, a stoic western with Ed Harris and Viggo Mortensen, has these two crime fighters working side by side for years and Viggo's character doesn't really know much about Harris's characters history and I am not surprised Bruce isn't just spilling the beans about his past.
Here's a question. Why didn't lex Luther ever just move to a new city and become a version of Batman? They have comparable skillsets and resources right? Lex is supposedly the smartest man on earth, yet he never clicked that being fabulously wealthy and in peak human condition he could accomplish much more towards his goals by just being batman. Could easily make Superman look like a massive dick too, as a byproduct.
Batman is easily manipulated...we all know that. It's a defining characteristic. And Superman would just deny he's a murderer, so why inquire directly? Zach Snyder wanted us to know the truth this comic showed him to create the B v S movie.
I mean, technically Batman doesn’t smack the teeth out of Dick’s head until the Court of Owl’s arc in the New 52.
The amount of abuse Bruce has piled on Dick is frankly staggering
I remember the Waynes were shot by a robber. What's Superboy got to do with that? I'm confused.
Can we admit now that Batman isn't a hero, or even an anti-hero, but actually has a lot in common with a certain South African?
You nerd lol. Cool people follow marvel.
