Man this arc of the Crossbones comics was great!  

Seeing Crossbones actually for once going all out against a villain who just unlocked their powers. 

Using everything he has to buy time for the evacuation of the Starlight Isles. 

The way the writer portrays the new villain as both scary and tragic is so cool! 

Not to mention their dash superpower is such a unique ability. 

Crossbones trying his best to save everyone All the while trying to put down the very villain who was responsible for killing so many innocent people, and even some of the fan favorite minor antagonists from the past issues. 

The part where Crossbones's arch enemy: Count Coffin K actually retreats from being intimidated by this new foe was also amazing! 

Our comical, jokey hero being forced to get serious and fight someone even to the death. And the part of the arc where the villain actually manages to unmask crossbones and he keeps fighting anyways. We even got to see him use the full potential of his sidekick!
