As the second decade of the 20th century drew to a close, a one-of-a-kind concrete cargo ship rolled out of dry dock destined for a war that had already ended. The SS Atlantus represented the final stage in a leftfield theory of ship design, and would find a way to cement itself into the history of the country one way or another.
